The downlaod requires your UserID the first time.  Next time you try it the download process will start immediately.  This is because a Cookie identifying you to the REALmap server has been place on your machine.  If you have cookies disabled and still want the process to start immediately you can set you r browser to allow cookies from REALmap only. Allow www.realmap.com.

Do this in Internet Explorer  Select Tools, Internet Options and select the privacy tab and add http://www.realmap.com
